La Gaffelière is planted to 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the wine is typically aged for 12-15 months in new oak. Robert Parker reports: 'Exhibiting a style of its own, La Gaffelière will surprise tasters used to the New Wave flamboyant St.-Emilions, but it is seductive in its own way with its sensual elegance and perfumed aromas.'
