The deep, dark ruby-red color is almost opaque. The aromas are intense, with juicy, rounded black-fruit that is almost like a Napa Cabernet, but with underlying fresh cassis aromas. The palate is yet to open & demonstrate the ripeness shown on the nose. The mid-palate displays complex cedary notes, but drying tannins currently close up the fruit.
