An Italian-style Fernet from Tempus Fugit made using the original recipe from a monk named Frate Angelico Fernet, using botanicals including aloe, saffron, angelica and myrhh. The nose is lightly medicinal, with gentle saffron aromas developing slowly. The palate is immediately bitter, but quickly develops notes of mint and sweet berries which balance out the bitterness for an engaging, lingering finish.
