At Kate Arnold Wines, we proudly source from premier family-owned vineyards in California, Oregon, and Washington. We believe that to produce the best wines, one must locate the finest growing locations for each varietal.
FAMILY: Kate, Jean, and their daughter, Leila, are committed to supporting smaller, family-owned grape growers. They believe in family companies and family-owned farms to support the consistency and quality of their wines. The Family & Farmers stamp on the label represents their commitment to value people over profits; quality over convenience; and the promise that they’ll never put anything in their wines that they wouldn’t drink themselves.
SOURCING: Our relationships with vineyards in premier growing regions across California, Oregon, and Washington allow us to locate the best quality of fruit for the best price. When we decided to start making wine, it was important to us to work with independent farmers and small vineyards (the majority are fewer than 25 acres) not only to diversify our sources, but also to support family-owned operations like ours.
WINEMAKING: Our wines are made with minimal intervention, no added sugar, and without concentrates. Using the best fruit we can find, we are able to achieve balance and consistency in our wines through blending, rather than relying on additives and commercial winemaking techniques to produce a specific taste profile. We use what Mother Nature gives us to deliver a true expression of the grape and the vintage.
