A muddier color in the glass, this bottling begins with strong aromas of sandalwood and incense alongside the muddled cherry, sumac and cinnamon elements. The palate is more tart with currant and pomegranate flavors, as layers of bay leaf, marjoram and incense appear toward the earthy finish. Matt Kettmann
The 'Twin Suns' line of wines is a joint venture between 'The River' and brothers Shimon and Gabriel Weiss. Depending on the vintage grapes may be sourced from Dundee Hills or California. Formerly this wine was labeled as Reserve.
