Marques de Gelida pioneered the “grower cava” movement in Spain, and everything they produce is 100% estate grown. Woman winemaker Maite Esteve oversees everything from grape growing to winemaking to label design and sales. She is meticulous about selling off wine that is not up to her standards.
This sparkler is 100% Pinot Noir from organic vineyards. Grapes are gravity fed into the winery, and only free run and half of the first press are used, guaranteeing delicate phenolics. Aged two years on lees. Delicate red fruits, zesty acidity and chalky minerality make this a gorgeous spring and summer sipper.
