While many have heard of the spectacular Atacama desert of Chile, the Elqui Valley is where you can find a new guard of winemaking in this arid region that flanks the famous desert. This comes from ungrafted Sauvignon Blanc vines at well over 1000 feet asl. The vines are planted on heavy limestone deposits alongside chalk. All work is done by hand. Unoaked.
