Deep, dark almost opaque ruby-red color. The aromas have a leafy red plum nature. The palate displays open ripe, red-plum fruit & clean cedar notes. The warming alcohol enhances the spicy nature of the cedary oak. The wine is medium to full bodied. Initially there is a slight leafy touch & perfumed red-fruit that opens to concentrated licorice. The wine is very powerful & the alcohol closes up the finish, leaving it spirity & cedary.
