Medium to deep ruby red color, not opaque. Aromas are of restrained dark fruit. There are leafy cassis flavors on the fresh, mid-weight palate. The wine is not particularly deep, relying instead on lively freshness. Acidity is good, alcohol is in balance & the finish has fair length

Cedar, tobacco, spice, herbs and peppery, red currants combine on the nose and chewy palate. The palate, with its savory edge, tobacco and chewy fruit offers a lot of lift and vibrancy in the finish. Drink from 2025-2040.
