A beautiful dark colour with youthful highlights is the prelude to a very harmonious nose where ripe fruit is interlaced with oaky and liquoricy tones. The palate is balanced and expressive from point of entry onwards. The aromas are well-established and become more intense through to the finish.

Juicy and round tannins to this make it so attractive already. Medium to full body, delicious fruit and a long and flavorful finish. Excellent second wine from Lascombes.

Cedar and cassis, with clear concentration to the aromatics and on the attack. Attractive with well-placed cassis fruits. You can see the potential with a few more years in bottle, but a little abrupt through the finish.
