The vineyards of the Disznoko estate have been classified as “first growth” in the Tokaj region since 1772. For this sweet Tokaji, the Disznoko winemakers use botrytized furmint grapes harvested late in the season. Aged for a few months in Hungarian oak casks, it retains both the natural sweetness of the grapes and their bright acidity. Beautifully well balanced, this deep gold dessert wine evokes the fullness of fall sunshine, with notes of yellow apple, wildflowers, and a whiff of smoke.
