Delicious and eminently drinkable, this full-bodied wine is Far Niente's valley-wide blend. It's soaked in black fruits and wrapped in approachable tannins that shape rather than dry the palate expression. Black cherries, dark plums and blueberries create plenty of appeal. Best through 2028.
Very expressive, with alluring warmed cassis and steeped plum aromas and flavors taking the lead, while anise, bramble, apple wood and sweet tobacco accents fill in. A touch reliant on its toast in the end, but this is broad and deep in feel, with ample fruit for the cellar. Best from 2025 through 2038. 3,000 cases made.
