Double oak aging in both American and Spanish Sherry oak give this bourbon whiskey a deep rich color and flavor and sweet vanilla character. Aromatic and pleasing, this bourbon has earned the double gold at the North American Bourbon and Whiskey Competition. Noble Oak describes their finishing process as "Compression Finishing" which allows both heat and pressure to impart more flavors into the whiskey. On the nose it carries sweeter notes of burnt sugar, butterscotch, maple, and vanilla while the palate carries more wood and cereal flavor then might be expected. Slightly peppery towards the finish, this is an bourbon that can appeal to drinkers with a sweet tooth.
