As a small grower/producer Champagne Pierre Moncuit wines are not as ubiquitous as the larger Champagne houses in the area. Moncuit's Champagnes are however, every bit as good. Exceptional raw material is one of the reasons. The reputation of Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger for Chardonnay is not well established. Though it's a grand cru village it's often considered to be one of the best of all the grand crus. It's elite. Top two, but not two kind of good. This Champagne is 100% from that village.
