The roots of Café Frieda stretch back to the beginning of Du Nord when the owners casually complained of the lack of a coffee liqueur that tasted like real coffee. The teachers in our lives have an outsized impact on our trajectories in life. Named for one of those educators, Cafe Frieda is inspired by the drink so many teachers enjoy. Locally roasted coffee is combined with spicy chicory, then sweetened to provide a balanced taste and smooth texture. Chocolate, coffee, spice, and fruit flavors mingle on the tongue to create a drinking experience above and beyond your ordinary cup of coffee.
