Nice chocolaty nose and quite fresh and clean, with a touch of herbal character and lots of fruit. The palate is smooth and rich, the spirit nicely tempered and the wine balanced. A very good example though Christian is phasing this wine out over the coming years, as he does not want to be in the ruby category
