Expert tasting note: (2013 vintage) "Deep, not quite opaque ruby-red color. There are lovely, spicy & chocolatey-rich aromas & underlying notes of mulberry, damson & dark plum fruit - perhaps a touch of pepper. The style combines good weight warmth & roundness with a firm, drying structure & peppery nots that are more classic for Syrah. The tannins are velvety & the alcohol is nicely in balance.
