Medium ruby red in color, the wine is quite darkly pigmented, but is not opaque. The aromas show developed, dark-fruit overlaid by fresher red-fruit notes. The palate is beautifully together, it is mid-weight with some nicely defined cassis & cedar notes. The elements comprising the palate are extremely well integrated. Alcohol is in balance & the finish is lifted by nice fresh acidity that keeps the dark cherry fruit on the finish fresh & juicy.
