Deep, dark ruby-red color. Aromas are savory and a touch earthy. The fruit on the palate is quite closed, leaving it drying and earthy. The wine has attractive acidity and balanced alcohol. Currently the tannins are overwhelming the fruit, but the fresh acidity should enable them to open and show themselves at a later stage. The finish is fine drying & cedary but with fair length

Wow, they have really upped their game at Croizet Bages. This is a beauty packed with layers of supple-textured, ripe, dark red fruits, freshness, silky tannins and a chewy, red berry finish that shows off its purity, leafy herbs, cedar, tobacco and spicy edges quite nicely. Drink from 2025-2045.
