Excellent nose with dark fruit like plums, blackberries and dark cherries. Full and juicy on the plate with good intensity and velvety tannins. Long and very fine. So pretty and sexy. Try in 2017. (Suckling)

Good deep red-ruby color. Sexy black raspberry, licorice, tobacco, dried herbs and a Graves-like iron note on the nose and palate, with complementary smoky oak. Rich, vinous and nicely perfumed, conveying a tactile impression of extract and good limestone lift. The raspberry element carries through in the mouth. Finishes subtle and complex, with fine tannins. An excellent vintage for this property, which has cut down on the percentage of new oak since the early 'OOs.
