The Matetic family arrived in Chilean Patagonia in 1892 from the city of Rijeka (today in Croatia). In 1999, the fourth generation of the family, after studying in detail the conditions and trusting in the great potential of the Rosario Valley, planted vineyards on the hillsides of this privileged environment.
