Established in 1975 by the fathers of cousins Alexandra and Jérome Labbe, Domaine Labbé emerged from humble origins. Originally subsistence farmers, the Labbe family cultivated diverse produce. With one brother a charcutier and the other a construction entrepreneur, they gradually planted Jacquères. In 2004, after their parents' successful launch, Alexandra and Jérome took the reins of the 10-hectare estate in Savoie, 15km south of Chambéry. Vinification at Domaine Labbé prioritizes varietal typicity and freshness, with indigenous yeast fermentation in temperature-controlled non-reactive vessels. Situated in the Alpine Savoie region, their Abymes appellation pays homage to the region's stone-laden avalanches, reflected in the sierra-colored soils.
