We were impressed enough by the initial batch release of old 10yr stock from this label that we expected the best from this even more limited, extra aged expression. We were right to think so. Not only is the original batch itself distinguished and deeply impressive but these double oak from heavy char #4 barrels on this whiskey will have you comparing it to whiskies more than twice its age and several factors more than that by price. Bottled at a natural batch strength of 65.1% abv.
