100% Organic Grüner Veltliner from the Pankraz vineyard grown on varied conglomerate soils, with sand and marl limestone. Grapes were hand harvested at the end of October and after gentle pressing (without stems) were given 16 hours skin contact before being wild fermented in old 500L Austrian oak barrel with 30% whole berries that were destemmed by hand. Aged on lees in barrel for 11 months on full lees. An expressive, structured wine with complex aromas leaning towards grapefruit, peach & hints of herbs. Lively on the palate, with dancing acidity, and long and peppery on the finish
