Intense notes of struck match and roasted nuts dominate, with ripe melon and lemon fruit below. It's a full figured, mouth coating wine with creamy texture and flavor, and flint, nut and toast characters. The fruit makes its way through, as does some lovely bright acidity. It's a full throttle, quite oak driven style that won't be for everyone but that is well executed
