In 1942, Don Jaime A. J. Sprock, a Caribbean merchant, ventured to Cuba where he collected and sampled a variety of homemade Caribbean cream liqueurs, called “Ponches” With painstaking attention, he tasted and picked out those that had the most expressive, delicious character. He took inspiration from them and went on to combine the finest rum and most authentic ingredients, to create a distinct and proprietary recipe he called “Ponche Kuba”. Our authentic recipe offers a delightful, creamy and perfectly balanced drink with notes of nutmeg, vanilla cinnamon and butterscotch. It’s best enjoyed chilled, neat or on ice, or in indulging cocktails.
