Light, snappy tannins define the flavors of crushed raspberry, fragrant leather and a touch of cured tobacco in this fresh, medium-bodied red. Balanced, with a chewy, spiced finish.
The Primitivo vines average 15 to 25 years old and are trained in the native alberello (bush vine) system. Harvested in early September the average yield is approximately 90 quintals per hectare.
