Auslese (selected harvest) wines are made from grapes that remain on the vine until extremely late in the year - as late as December! The result is a mouth-filling, luscious wine that displays aromas of wild honeysuckle and dried peaches. These aromas lead to a rich concentration of exotic flavors of dried apricots, tangerine and floral honey. Complimentary to fruits, strong cheese, or rich desserts.
