Stella Rosa Rosé V.S. Prosecco D.O.C starts with specially selected grapes grown in the beautiful vineyards of the Veneto Region in Italy. This area has a very special microclimate characterized by high temperature variations between day and night during the summer. This environment is crucial to achieve perfect ripening of the grapes and give the wine a breathtaking structure and harmony, in which acidity and minerality are perfectly balanced. What makes Stella Rosa Rosé V.S. so special? The secret is a specially selected blend of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes aged in oak for three months. The blend undergoes a very long fermentation to yield a richer, more elegant Prosecco with more pronounced character. Stella Rosa Rosé V.S. Prosecco is slightly drier than the white varietal, as fermentation is a longer process and takes place at a lower temperature. The addition of a small amount of ripe Pinot Noir to the blend adds a hint of wild strawberry character to the wine. It’s also more floral in characteristic than our standard Prosecco Rose. The bottles are hand wrapped with a beautiful, shiny rose gold finish making it perfect for gifting. Imported from Italy.
